Finally decided to jot down my road trip adventures from the Memorial day weekend. Never knew a 3-day weekend would be so action-packed and adventurous. Driving through the 150 degree desert route with my best buddy, and experiencing a certain high whilst passing the snow-clad mountain terrain was perhaps the most amazing experience I have ever had. Write Regularly

Because memories are special....One must capture them all!

It's a mundane Wednesday. Got to my office on-time. The usual 8am grind. My mantra for morning motivation - a strong cup of coffee. My brain tells me I have depended too much on it as my wake up call, but I think for now it does wonders. Will have to certainly find alternatives. Soon!

Sitting at my desk, as I browsed for ideas, I stumbled upon twitter feeds (motivation #1.1 because twitter feeds and new innovation ideas + news keep me going. Thanks Jack! #twitter).

I sip on my coffee and stare at my monitor. Completely tired and it's only Wednesday!! I hear a banter between two of the studio managers in the background. I tune out of the chatter and stare back at my screen. Something tells me I should start writing. Channel my inner thoughts and ideas. I had just returned from a 2 week long backpacking trip to Peru. I had so much to write about. The backpacking experience, my exchange with people from different countries, more so my unforgettable memories about Machu Picchu, the Lares village and the people. An inner voice has been coaxing me to start a travel blog. My sister in law, who I share my thoughts with and have a fantastic exchange about travel, has been encouraging me to start a blog. That inner voice comes back "start writing ... soon. you will have some place to go to when times are not-so-great!".

Memories are special..capture them all!

I refresh my page and log back into twitter. This time I go through recommended twitter handles and click on something that opens up a whole new world. The page opens into a smaller browser window. I read the headline (big, black, bold) that says "You should write regularly". This was a blog that has stories, articles, etc. A place where people can read and write about things that matter most. Call it an epiphany or coincidence. Whatever it was, the page that opened this "You should write regularly" piece, had an fantastic photograph of the great Machu Picchu site. My heart almost stopped. I realized this was it. I had to write. And here I am... sharing my first travel blog story...
